Welcome back for our weekly wine tasting. This week we will be exploring France!
To start off our tasting we will be enjoying Chateau Coupe-Roses. This beautiful Red Wine blend features Carignan , Grenache and Syrah. This indulgent and bold red wine comes from small farms in a mountainous region in Minervois. This wine is grown from vines planted in limestone soils in the Mediterranean.
Following the Chateau Coupe-Roses, we have Domaine Ruet. This 100% Gamay is going to be a light, smooth, dry and acidic wine boasting raspberry, cherries and strawberries with a hint of chocolate, oak and espresso.
To finish off the French wine tasting this week we the famous Sauternes from Chateau Les Guizats. This dessert wine features Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon. This wine is going to be a bold, sweet and slightly acidic wine with notes of apricots, peaches, oranges, marmalade, oak and hints of vanilla. Perfect company with any cobbler, pie or cheesecake (or by itself)!
