Welcome back to another exciting week in the world of wines! This week, we have the pleasure of enjoying some of Germany’s most well known grapes!
To start off the tasting we are going to enjoy a lovely Rose, from Villa Wolf. This Rose comes from Pinot Noir grapes and has a lovely light ruby color. We are going to enjoy a beautiful bouquet of strawberries, raspberries, cherries and some grapefruit. The wine was grown in Germany’s Rhine River Valley giving it’s fresh aroma and zippy finish.
Germany’s most planted grape is Riesling and we could not have a wine tasting featuring Germany without it! We will be enjoying a Karl Josef Riesling. This wine will have a pale straw color with a bouquet of green apples, apricots, lime, lemon and a hint of minerals. This wine is widely versatile in pairing with food or to causally drink daily!
Lastly, we are going to enjoy a Gruner Veltliner from Getrank! This wine can pair with almost anything ranging from cured meats-cheeses-pork-snacks, you name it, just drink this! Once you open this wine, a train of lovely peaches, apples and eucalyptus is going to hit your nose. Also this wine comes in 1 Liter bottles so there is plenty to share!
We look forward to seeing you on Thursday,4-7 PM!
