Welcome back to another week of wine tasting here at Noshies. This week we are going to be exploring Argentina and three different producers showcasing some of Argentina’s most popular grape varietals.
To start off the tasting this week we are going to try a Torrontes. This medium bodied white wine boasts roasted tropical fruits with a hint of jasmine and citrus on the back of the pallet. This grape pairs well with spicy foods, vegetarian dishes and small plates!
Up next we have a Malbec that is certified organic from Mikron. This wine has a strong bouquet of ripe blackberries, boysenberries and strawberries with a hint of cocoa, espresso and leather. This wine would pair nicely with beef, lamb and poultry dishes!
Lastly on the wine tasting this week, we have a Red Blend, rated 94 points by James Suckling. This blend consists of 75% Malbec, 19% Bonarda and 6% Petit Verdot. This producer is very unique given that this house has been making wine since the 1930’s producing some of the finest wines coming out of this region.
We are looking forward to seeing you this Thursday!
