Welcome back folks to another week of wine tasting at Noshies. This week we are going to enjoy some current release vintages of rose wines from Washington State and France.
To start off the tasting we are going to try a Rose from Washington State. This wine from Smak is made from Sangiovese grapes and in turn creates a lighter bodied rose with a bountiful aroma of vibrant flavors of oranges, mandarins and lemon. This wine is perfectly paired with a cheese plate, poultry or fresh spring veggies!
Up next we travel to France, and we are going to enjoy a Rose from Chateau Terrebonne. This wine boasts aromas of rose petals, strawberries, citrus and stone fruits. This wine is the definition of spring time. You can easily pair this wine with light summer food or by itself.
Lastly, on the tasting we are going to enjoy another French Rose from Domaine De Chateaumar. This wine is a blend of 90% Grenache and 10% Mourvedre which makes this well crafted wine a heavier bodied rose with a vibrant amount of acid and a bouquet of summertime fruits. I highly recommend this wine for summer parties to enjoy with family and friends.
We are looking forward to seeing you this Thursday, cheers!
