October 17 Tasting – France’s Burgundy Region

Hello everyone! This week, we are featuring three wines from France’s Burgundy Region. This wines are recent additions to the shelves and should help kick off homecoming weekend in style! As always, the tasting is 4-7PM on Thursday at Noshies.

Our first wine of the evening will be the “Chablis Les Pargues 2017” from Romain Collet. This balanced wine is finely textured and very white-fruit forward. This is a tremendous, easy drinking wine to kick off the tasting. This is a perfect wine for any occasion and will leave you wanting to bring one to your next gathering.

Our second bottle is a 2018 Chardonnay from Jacques Bourguinon. This chardonnay is light and pale yellow in appearance but is complex and elegant on taste. This wine is balanced on mouthfeel and tastes like fresh fruit.

Our last bottle of the tasting is also from Jacques Bourguinon. This bottle is their 2018 Pinot Noir. On first smell, this wine has strong fruit aromas and some red raspberry and cherry notes as well. Yielding a pleasant taste, this wine is delicate and hasa great array of red fruit flavors.

We hope to see you at Noshies on Thursday, October 17 to try these amazing French wines with us! See you then!

~Cheers!
