Welcome back folks to another week of wine tasting here at Noshies. This week we are going to be exploring different Chardonnay’s from around the world.
To start off the tasting we are going to be trying a Chardonnay from California. J. Lohr 2020 Arroyo Vista is going to have a pronounced bouquet of pears, honey crisp apples with an elegant finish of butter and oak. This winery in California is committed to sustainability and was an early adopter of sustainable practices and helped pave the way on environmental conscious methods and certifications.
Next, we are going to Italy to try a Chardonnay from Cantina La-Vis. This elegantly crafted wine boasts aromas of apricots, peaches, honey, butter and a hint of oak. This wine is highly unique since Northern Italy is predominately red wine country however there is a small batch of high quality white wine that is produced. This wine is no exception!
Lastly on the tasting we have a Chardonnay from Pays France. These wine grapes are grown on the Mediterranean coast to Provence. The wines that come out of this region are highly aromatic, crisp and clean.
